Test Sockets

Custom test sockets from the engineer who patented the mechanisms

Application-specific test and burn-in sockets — fine-pitch, high-current, high-temperature, Kelvin — designed in Germany, built through qualified fabrication partners in Singapore, delivered with the complete design package. Your socket. Your files. Your second-source freedom.

Why custom

When the catalog doesn't have your socket

Catalog sockets cover the common cases. Your case isn't common: a new package with no off-the-shelf option, a delicate CSP cracking under standard contact force, a burn-in strip that needs uniform high force without creeping open at temperature, a Kelvin requirement the standard pinout can't meet, or a lead time that kills your ramp.

Custom socket vendors will build you one — and keep the drawings, so every re-order, every modification, every second source runs through them. We work the opposite way.

The Precicon socket model

Designed by a patent holder. Built by qualified partners. Owned by you.

01

Designed at patent depth

Your socket is designed by the inventor of 10 patented contacting mechanisms — including controlled per-pin force protection for delicate CSP/WLCSP packages (DE102017004267) and self-locking uniform-force burn-in contacting (EP3023801). The mechanisms that solve contact damage, false fails, and burn-in contact drift are the mechanisms we patented.

02

Built through a qualified fabrication network

First articles and production quantities through precision fabrication partners in Singapore we have worked with for years — with our quality oversight from drawing to delivery. Fast Asia-based manufacturing, European engineering accountability.

03

Delivered with the full design package

Every socket order includes the complete CAD, drawings, and BOM. Re-order from us for convenience — or take the files to your own supply chain. That choice is yours on every order, forever. No other socket source offers this.

Socket FAQ

Common questions

Can you match a socket we already use?
We design fresh to your requirement — we don't copy proprietary third-party designs. If your current socket underperforms, we diagnose why and design past it.
Typical quantities?
From single lab units to production quantities across the partner network — and the design package means volume can also move to your own suppliers.
Repairs and spares?
Every design specifies exchangeable contacts and wear parts with sourcing information in the BOM — serviceability is designed in.
Pricing?
Quoted per project — the RFQ response includes a budgetary figure within 5 business days, free.
